I am a practising nutritionist and have been for years. Please use organic coconut oil and massage it into the affected area. It will be absorbed through the skin (trans dermal absorption). It is anti-microbial, anti-viral and anti-bacterial. I use on friends and colleagues when antibiotics and western medicine has failed them.
If you cook/fry with it, full English or chicken etc, it will not change its chemical bonds/properties under intense heat i.e. it will NOT transform itself into trans fatty acids which are bad. Many people don’t realise many other cooking oils change into trans fatty acids under intense heat.
