      Tingles,

We have a trading platform on the Illuminati Silver Discord server.  It is where members can buy, sell, and trade their PM’s and numismatics.

I don’t want to sell via eBay – too many scammers!

Is there a safer way – I don’t really have any priceless coins, just semi-numismatic, Lunars series 2 plus some weird Silver Bullet Silver Shield coins I bought for some reason??  Of course, together with the usual standard bullion coins.

I think in hindsight, gold would have been better.

Thanks for that – I was aware there had been deliberate leaks of info & a subterfuge but not the details you provide – Also you may not have known that cardboard tanks under camouflage nets were positioned on the East Coast of Britain to further confuse.

Part of the reason the Germans was surprised was that the weather had been attrocious for several days and many of the high command in the field for the German military had taken the opportunity to return to Germany, including Romel who had returned to Berlin to report back and also see his family.

The Germans were so surprised that Hitler was still in Bavaria and it was not until lunchtime that he was even told there was an invasion!

My parents played a small part in the landings of the 6th.- June. Here is a brief summary of their role (I may publish the longer version on this website on the anniversary next year) :

Late in the afternoon of 6th. June over 75 years ago my Mother got permision to slip away early from her secret radio ops. base near London – on condition she remained in Uniform! – she had no idea why she had to wear uniform but what the hell it got her off ops. early!

She was WRAF and now firmly grounded as her newly married husband said that 2 in the air was too many!

Father had arranged to fly into Biggin Hill for a brief overnight stay and they were meeting for an early supper with some friends in a hotel near Croydon airport.

They had dinner and everyone drifted away early. Later that night my Father slid quietly from their bedroom setting an alarm for my Mother – She was on orders and Father had just broken orders!!

Mother heard the alarm and rapidly got up – not quite sure why she had to – dressed, rather blearily in the dark and was on the front steps of the hotel just as dawn was breaking. Those were her instructions!!

Just as dawn broke she heard the familiar roar of Merlin Engines as a wing of Spitfires flew at roof top over the hotel waggling their wings – she spent the next 10 minutes helping a cleaning lady clear up the mess she made falling over a bucket of soapy water as she, being less used to Spitfires at close quarters than my Mother, dived for cover!

Then the sprint back to her station where at every opportunity for the rest of the day she tuned in to listen to my Father’s squadron as it provided the air cover on the beaches of the Normandy Landings. From the official record it shows my father flew at least 4 x 2hr. sorties over the beaches that day – fortunately with no casualties in Tony Page’s squadron that day. Tony Page was the heir to the aircraft manufacturer ‘Handley Page’.

Operation Overlord with the landing of 156,000 allied troops on the beaches of Normandy (Operation Neptune) was under way.

The landings were to be preceded by airborne landings near Caen on the eastern flank to secure the Orne River bridges and north of Carentan on the western flank. The Americans, assigned to land at Utah Beach and Omaha Beach, were to attempt to capture Carentan and St. Lô the first day, then cut off the Cotentin Peninsula and eventually capture the port facilities at Cherbourg. The British at Sword Beach and Gold Beach and Canadians at Juno Beach would protect the American flank and attempt to establish airfields near Caen. A secure lodgement would be established and an attempt made to hold all territory north of the Avranches–Falaise line within the first three weeks. Montgomery envisaged a ninety-day battle, lasting until all Allied forces reached the Seine.

In the 48 hours of D Day alone fatal casualties were around 3,000 with many many more injured.

Where They Gave Their Lives For You & I

Only to be betrayed by political filth just a few decades later.

Few things in my life have revolted me more than the glib willingness of the scum of the earth to squabble and back stab to get their snouts in the troughs on The EU Gravy Train.

Even less edifying have been the filth that has crawled out of the gutters to lie and cheat, plot and scheme against decent honest people, who have no interest in personal reward, yet seek to liberate these United Kingdoms from under the heel of those to whom our politicians have betrayed us.

Richard North made a very simple but very understanding comment on his Blog:

In a demonstration of raw courage, ingenuity, determination and sheer power, on 6 June 1944 the combined Allied Armies launched the greatest invasion fleet in the history of man onto the shores of Normandy – a feat never since equalled and never likely to be repeated.

Many arrived – many fewer left. We owe them a great deal.

But Richard has a better understanding of the betrayal of Britain by Politicians and a clear understanding of young men in battle, let down by the politicians who betrayed them and the senior officers jockeying for position, do read his recent book – Details CLICK HERE

      Greg,

In yesterday’s live webinar, when you were talking about the D-Day landings, you said that the Germans had no idea that the invasion was coming. An interesting fact that was released many years later was that MI5 used a double agent to notify the Germans where and when the landings would take place.

One of the main concerns of the allies was that in the first couple of weeks after D-Day, the Germans would be able to send in panzer divisions and other artillery and they would have a huge advantage while allied troops were still being ferried across to France. MI5 hatched a plan, called Operation Fortitude, to fool the Germans into thinking that the Normandy invasion was a diversionary attack and that the main invasion would take place between Dover and Calais, across the shortest stretch of the Channel. The deception involved covering the Kent countryside with lots of cardboard trucks and tanks so that German reconnaissance planes would see them. The key part of the deception was that MI5 had a double agent, a Spaniard called Juan Pujol Garcia, and to establish his credibility they had him radio through to the Germans that the invasion of Normandy was about to begin. The timing was considered critical: he sent the information less than 24 hours before the invasion started, and it was reckoned that this would be too short a time for the Germans to do anything to improve their defences.

After D-day, Garcia proceeded to radio through the message that the Normandy landings were a diversion and that the main attack would follow into Calais. The Germans fell for it hook, line and sinker. Information recovered after the war showed that Garcia’s reports were sent all the way up the chain of command to Hitler himself, and they were accepted as genuine because nobody could believe that the allies would give away the date of the invasion. The result was that several German divisions were held back waiting for a second invasion that never happened. It was not until September, three months later, that the Germans realised they had been duped, but by then it was too late and the allied forces had a substantial bridgehead.

Even before this, Garcia had played the Germans for suckers for years. He claimed to have recruited a network of over 20 spies in England and sent loads of bogus reports to Germany. He insisted that the Germans pay for all his spies, and over the course of the war they sent him a total of $340,000.

There is more information in the Wikipedia entries on Juan Pujol Garcia and Operation Fortitude.

      Hi,

we are in the process of setting up REAL TIME service for ALL who are members of Illuminati Silver with a private portal within it for Gold & Silver members.

The service will go live for all once we have worked out security and various links.

To start with it will be ketboard access with REAL TIME Text Messages but we hope rapidy to move that forward to voice in REAL TIME for Gold & Silver members and if that works out as well as we hope we may expand it to all IS members.

      WE’D LIKE SOME HELP:

we are looking for Gold & Silver members willing to join us in providing the service by acting as MODERATORS – this is just to act as monitors of the service to ensure it isn’t abused as it could become rather unruly!! though we hope this will require very little effort on the part of MODERATORS we may need in the future as it grows to recruit from amongst the Moderators further Administrators but we are hoping to get it going with just 3 Administrators.

Although we seem to be setting up a structure to run before we can walk, we feel this is needed to cover all eventualities to ensure a smooth introduction and growth.

IF you would like to help please make comments in this Thread and/or contact Richard by DM.

      Thanks & Regards,

      Greg
