Can any government just confiscate civilian’s gold from their deposit box in the banks ? Lots o people are using Billion Vaults now, but when the governments know that most private own gold are there, what guarantees they will not go there and rob them ? Or bomb the place by accident ? I may sound silly, I am not familiar with the law.

My reply would be that governments can indeed confiscate the contents of a bank vault, which is why it is a good idea to hold gold abroad in safe jurisdictions. Companies like BullionVault and GoldMoney allow you to hold gold in Switzerland and Singapore, for example. Other countries are not going to bomb Switzerland or Singapore, though there might be a concerted effort to put pressure on them to disclose information about gold holdings.
